December 2005
SNLA couple of people have asked what's the deal with me & Saturday Night Live?Well, it seems there was (is?) a writer for SNL with my name. That's fine. I'm fond of my name, but willing to share under these circumstances. It has led to a couple of confusing moments, however. Such as with the OpEd editor of a large daily. I sent him an essay for consideration. He loved it! Thought it was great! Then asked if I was the guy from SNL. I told him that no, I was a guy from Columbia, MO. And I never heard from the editor again. Ah well. |
